Pancras is a pharmacologist in cardiovascular drug discovery at Bristol-Myers Squibb. He has hypertension. “For me, every experiment has the potential for translating into human medicine. When you have that feeling that something you do can potentially make a difference in helping people, that’s what really gets me to work every day. My work may help patients all over the world. I am also helping myself. I am one of those patients.”
