Executive Vice President and
Chief Financial Officer

Charles Bancroft was elected chief financial officer effective April 8, 2010. In this role, he is responsible for the company’s worldwide finance operations, including Tax, Treasury, Controllership area, Investor Relations, Audit Services, Financial Shared Services, Strategic Initiatives and the global commercial, R&D and manufacturing finance operations. He was appointed executive vice president of Bristol-Myers Squibb in October 2011. He has operational responsibility for Latin America, Middle East, Africa, Canada, Japan and several countries in the Pacific Rim. He reports to Lamberto Andreotti, chief executive officer.

Charlie joined Bristol-Myers in 1984 and has since held positions of increasing responsibility within the finance organization, including international assignments and senior leadership positions in the global pharmaceutical business as well as with ConvaTec. Most recently, he was vice president of Finance for the company’s global biopharmaceutical business.

Charlie received his Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from Drexel University and his Masters in Business Administration from Temple University.
