James M. Cornelius, age 66, has been our Chairman since February 11, 2008 and served as our Chief Executive Officer from September 12, 2006 to May 4, 2010. From November 2005 through April 2006, Mr. Cornelius served as the Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer (interim) of Guidant Corporation. He served as Guidant’s Non-Executive Chairman of the Board from 2000 until 2005.
